
Martin Scott
Martin is an experienced investor, board leader and adviser who works with founders and leadership teams on growth strategy, value creation, governance, capital planning and strategic transactions. He is Chair of Netwatch Group and a former Partner at The Riverside Company, where he led investments across Europe and worked closely with management teams on scaling, international expansion, organisational development, M&A and exit preparation. His investment experience spans software, industrial technology and data infrastructure businesses operating in complex and highly regulated markets. Earlier in his career, Martin was a senior partner at KPMG, where he led strategy and operations within Transaction Services, and worked at McKinsey & Company, advising clients on technology-led transformation. A Marie Curie Fellow, Martin holds a PhD in Machine Learning from the University of Cambridge. Combining deep technical understanding with extensive investment and board experience, he advises founders on strengthening their operating foundations, preparing for institutional capital and navigating the strategic decisions required to build scalable and resilient businesses.
